Agreement to terms

By accessing or using PLACEMNT, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

User accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized use
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account
  • Not share your account credentials

Content ownership & rights

Your Content: You retain all rights to music and content you upload. By submitting content, you grant PLACEMNT a license to:

  • Store and display your submissions
  • Share your content with opportunity posters
  • Analyze your music using AI technology
  • Use metadata for matching and recommendations

You warrant that:

  • You own or have rights to all uploaded content
  • Your content doesn't infringe on third-party rights
  • You have authority to grant the licenses described
  • Your content complies with all applicable laws

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload copyrighted material without permission
  • Spam or harass other users
  • Attempt to breach security measures
  • Use automated systems to access the platform
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliations
  • Upload malicious code or viruses
  • Engage in fraudulent activities

Payments & subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time, but refunds are only provided within 14 days of initial purchase. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

Opportunities & submissions

For Creators:

  • Submissions are reviewed at the sole discretion of opportunity posters
  • PLACEMNT does not guarantee placements or responses
  • You maintain ownership of submitted works

For Opportunity Posters:

  • You must accurately represent opportunities
  • Licensing terms must be negotiated directly with creators
  • You may not use submissions without proper licensing

Limitation of liability

PLACEMNT is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. You may close your account at any time.

Dispute resolution

Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, except you may assert claims in small claims court. These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction].

Changes to terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
